Buy SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSE: SPY) January 19, 2018 $250 call option.

Buy Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) January 19, 2018 $180 call option.

My stock indicator is bullish enough to open a call on the S&P 500. We like the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSE: SPY) January 19, 2018 $250 call option.

Additionally, we like the Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) January 19, 2018 $180 call option. Buying this option should offer some extra potential upside than just the SPY call alone.

BTO SPY 01/19/2018 250.00 C filled @ $4.79 & added as above the 2nd step of
BTO FB 01/19/2018 180.00 C filled @ $7.23, but sure feeling unsettled by the nakedness of the calls.

Dear RockS and Gompps,

In the Aggressive Trader, we’ve generally gone with buying straight forward calls and puts in accordance with the readings of our indicators. So far the market has moved against us. Steve’s market indicator is still positive, however. We will see how the stock indicator and the market move and we will make a decision what to do about the open options.
