What are your thoughts on the upcoming IPO for BP Midstream Partners LP (BPMP)?
MIdstreams seems to be taking it on the chin. Is it time to double down on companies like EEP and ETP? One would think that the go ahead on the Dakota Access Pipeline would help push these stocks up.

James, I am shocked that completion of the Dakota Access Pipeline didn’t seem to impact the unit price, because it will improve distributable cash flow. I think these companies have just been caught in the overall sector downdraft. I would personally be inclined to pick up more shares, as I just don’t think these conditions can last.

I think the climate going forward is going to be a lot better than when Shell IPO’d its midstream. I wrote a bit about this IPO last week: https://www.investingdaily.com/39912/bp-debuts-a-midstream-mlp
