Sell Omnicom (NYSE: OMC) Puts

Sell to close the July 20, 2018 put on Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC) with a strike price of $72.50 at $.92 or higher. Symbol (OMC180720P72.5)

Omnicom’s been a tough stock to be negative on. Despite weakness in the internet ad space, this stock has remained strong. Today’s initiation with a Sell rating and a $63 target by media experts at MoffettNathanson give us a chance to recoup some losses.

These puts expire on July 20 so need to be sold quickly as the time value evaporates quickly the closer we get to that date.

hello everyone,

I was too quick on the trigger yesterday (very eager to get started) and did a mistake. Don´t know how big mistake it was, but I sold this option as specified. But I didn´t have it…I was supposed to have opened a sell earlier, I see now.

What should I do now?

Sold OMC @1.65 today. I missed the alert earlier and am glad I did.

I know, I saw the news yesterday. It was salt in the wound but a good reminder that I need to consider rolling into a future expiration date and strike price when options aren’t working out.
